Online application goes live. Successful applicants must attend the workshop for new Artisans on Thursday,
Oct. 26 (detail below, under Oct. 26). Please apply only if your schedule allows you to attend this workshop. Unfortunately, those not in
attendance will not be considered an Indiana Artisan and will need to begin the application process again for the 2018 review.

Plan to attend the seventh annual Indiana Artisan Marketplace. Submit an application by March 15 and receive two complimentary tickets to
this event to get a sense of the Artisans, the quality, breadth and depth of their work, and the benefits of this organization.
• Friday, Sept. 1, 2017
Deadline is noon for online applications to be submitted.
Within 48 hours of submitting an application, applicants receive email confirmation that their application is complete and an update on next
steps. Traditionally, nearly all applications are complete and represent the applicant well. For the few whose application is incomplete, or
whose application does not address the goals of this organization (for example, art or foods that fall outside Indiana Artisan’s definition of art
and food), the confirmation email will identify the issue(s). It is very important to read the art application guidelines or food application

Art samples are required of all applicants and must ship/deliver for arrival by this date. The art application guidelines explain how many samples can be submitted and more.

Art jury panel reviews submissions.
• Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, 1 – 5 p.m.
Art samples will be return shipped / may be picked up.
All samples may be picked up at the Ivy Tech Community College drop-off location any time from 1 – 5 p.m., unless other arrangements have

Required workshop, 6 – 8 p.m. in downtown Indy, for all successful applicants – a time to meet each other, learn how to maximize
the benefits of Indiana Artisan, how to leverage the organization to expand your business and how to participate in the Holiday Marketplace.
Spouses and/or business partners are welcomed.
Successful applicants unable to attend must reapply to Indiana Artisan and repeat the jurying process to be reconsidered. Given the
importance of this workshop, please check your availability at this date and time before applying.
